The hemp plants have spent 4 weeks growing in the greenhouse. Here's the first look at them transplanted into the freshly tilled, organically treated Iowa topsoil, right before sunset!

The plants are settling very nicely into their new topsoil homes! Each individual row is covered with plastic mulching for weed control and moisture retention.

The plants have more than doubled in size in the first 3 weeks and have really started to thicken up as they add more fan leaves.

The plants took a little wind from last night's storm but came out unscathed. They continue to grow in size daily with all of the great sunshine we have been having!

We have had a few surprise early morning rains this past week which was great and the plants are loving it....nothing beats a little natural rain while also saving water!
The plants continue to fill out and pack on big, GREEN leaves in this Iowa soil and sunshine.
Week 6
The hemp plants are continuing to pack on the leaves as their size appears to grow by the day! The plants love the benefits of the natural rain which we've been lucky to have recently. The hemp plants should begin the flowering process any week now!

The hemp plants are looking healthy and full of new green leaves. Some of plants have even begun the flowering process! This is an exciting time to see how the plants begin to change and also being able to smell the delicious terpenes of the Goliath Strain in the field!

Another week of awesome growing weather here in Vinton, Iowa and now the hemp field is in full-on flower mode!
The plants are very happy in this Iowa soil as they are full of big, green leaves. The hemp plants in general will continue to fill out and grow in size as their flowers/buds add more weight and CBD potency!

The hemp plants have been getting plenty of great sunshine during the start of the flowering process.
The flowers/buds are starting to pack on the trichomes!

A breezy day at Winsor Hemp Farm! The next few weeks will be really important for the flowering process and CBD potency! We will be watching the plants closely to make sure they are tested by the state at the right time!

The hemp plants are looking great during the flowering process! We couldn't be happier with how the field looks! Harvest is right around the corner!

Harvest is set and the next few weeks will be very busy but also a ton of fun along the way!
We will be having our field at the farm tested very soon and harvest will begin soon after!
